First in Sun+: A new medicine center aimed at improving clients’ sexual health is open in Hamburg.
Nurse practitioner Sharyn L. Cass, PLLC, opened Embrace My Vitality last month at 4535 Southwestern Blvd.
Cass specializes in “rejuvenative medicine,” a kind of practice that helps heal issues such as urinary incontinence, sexual displeasure, low testosterone and erectile dysfunction, Cass said.
Issues like urinary incontinence and sexual displeasure often go untreated, Cass said.
“It’s a part of being a human being, and it should be included in visits to healthcare providers, and it’s not for fear of stigma or embarrassment,” Cass said. “It’s ignored, and then people just deal with it. And I’m saying, ‘You don’t have to deal with it.’”
Cass said her treatments often help improve clients’ intimacy and relationships.
Her office is a “safe place,” warm and inviting, she said, for people to seek non-judgmental treatment.
“I offer more than just hope,” Cass said. “I can offer happiness, self confidence, increased vitality.”
